Below is a draft breakdown of the tasks envisaged for each Working Group in the run up to taking the Town Hall into a Community Trust. If you have any expertise in the areas listed and can spare a few hours a month. please contact Nigel on 01569 750273 or by email kingsatthelinns@yahoo.co.uk

FINANCE
Income Analysis
Aim -Provide comprehensive financial overview of project
Tasks
Analyse income from current users/prices to prepare projected cashflow plan. 1yr/2yr/5/yrs.
Prepare/present financial statements as required by STP and Council.   
Provide financial information in support of Grant applications.
Work with Aberdeenshire re support in transition years.
Prepare and present business plan for the total development 1yr/2yrs/5yrs.

FUNDRAISING
Aim - to explore and develop possible revenue streams for the project
Tasks
Research funding opportunities both locally and nationally
Liaise with Grant funding organisations and STP/Council.
Complete necessary grant applications and co-ordinate support materials.
Organise local/community fund raising events

COMMUNITY CONSULTATION
Aim – To understand the needs and aspirations of the different stakeholders in the project and to present this back in a way that shapes the development of the project.
Tasks
Develop methodologies to gather feedback and communicate these to relevant audiences.
Analyse both qualitative and quantitative information (eg that gathered via the November public meeting and the questionnaire.) 
Work with other members of the steering group to prepare an action list from information.
Liaise with relevant local organisations/schools etc. To ensure that views are considered in the strategy

MARKETING
Aims – To explore all possible opportunities for marketing the Town Hall and build these opportunities into the business plan for the Town Hall.
Tasks
Develop marketing plan short/long term
Identify new marketing opportunities and develop a marketing strategy to engage with possible new clients.
Identify which marketing tools would be most successful for the project.
Liaise with persons responsible for consultation to ensure that PR is consistent and cohesive.

BUILDING WORK
Aim – Develop a prioritised plan of all proposed work
Tasks
Analyse information on current state of the building.
Prepare a prioritised job list for presentation to Group/STP.
Liaise and negotiate with Aberdeenshire Council re work and any possible financing via the Town Regeneration Fund.
Be aware of what skills are available in the volunteer’s data base.
Identify jobs that can be done by volunteers –skilled/semi-skilled/un-skilled.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Aim – To co-ordinate all information and prepare a possible Project Plan
Tasks
Develop the Project Plan in preparation for taking overall control of the development.
Liaise with the group members and Aberdeenshire Council to co-ordinate/prepare project plan 1yr.2yrs5yrs.
Analyse possible risk/benefits of proposed plans and prepare viable alternatives.

TRANSITION
Aim – To ensure that the legal framework is in place to facilitate the transition from Aberdeenshire Council to a community Trust.
Tasks
To prepare/ensure that the necessary legal documentation –Constitution/Articles of Association are prepared to meet the criteria laid down by local and national (Scottish) government.
Liaise with Aberdeenshire Council and prepare an appropriate lease ready for the transition.
Ensure that the future Trust Constitution meets the criteria to become a company limited by guarantee.
Ensure that the Trust Constitution meets the requirements of OSCR to enable the Trust to become a charity.
Administrator
Aim – To provide basic part-time administrative support to the Steering Group,
