FORTHCOMING EVENTS 2010

Saturday 1st May Coffee Morning in the Upper Town Hall between 10 -12.30pm £2

As well as enjoying a coffee and a fine piece, you can browse a selection of art and crafts in the old Council Chambers. There will also be Town Hall Tours which will give you an opportunity to see parts of the building you have never seen before!  Members of the Steering Group will be around to answer any questions you may have.

Saturday 5th June – Feein’ Market.

We will have a stall at the Feein’ Market, mainly to give information to the public about what we are doing at the Town Hall. However, we will also be doing our famous Town Hall Tours! We will also have for sale some quiz sheets about the Town Hall and its environs, for both adults and children.

Friday 11th June Wine Tasting 8pm £15

If you enjoy a tipple this is the event for you!  Sandy Kenneway of Dunnottar Wines will share his expert knowledge in his usual entertaining way.  We will provide finger food and cheeses to accompany the wines during the evening.  There will also be a prize for the team who can identify the most wines during the evening.

Friday 16th July Speed Dating

Now for something completely different!  We are lucky to have a variety of ages and ideas in our Fund Raising Group and Janine Smith came up with this idea. We are still finalising the details, but so far it is agreed that this will focus on the 25 – 40 year old age group. Ticket price will include a welcoming drink and a bar will be provided for further refreshments.  Watch this space for further information.

Sunday  15th August Family Fun Day

This event has been arranged for the last Sunday before school starts.  It will also be low tide so we can get down on the beach.  This event is still a work in progress but we envisage activities such as kite flying, sand building competitions, treasure hunts, rock pool investigations and many more activities.  We will also have a variety of indoor activities.  So, there will be lots activities for the whole family – put the date in your diary.

Friday 4th September -Ceilidh and Curry

Again this is a work in progress, so watch this space for further information.

Tickets for all of these events will be on sale at the Feein’ Market on Saturday 5th June, or further information can be obtained from Mary Struthers mary.culbeg@btinternet.com
