Details:The picturesque routes of Fetteresso Forest on the outskirts of Stonehaven will play host to the Stoney Stomp on Saturday 27th August. After a fantastic day in 2010, the Stomp returns with a 5km walk or run and 7mile run along the beautiful trails of Fetteresso Forest followed by a celebratory evening ceilidh at Mackie Academy in Stonehaven. We would love to see you for a dance at our ceilidh after the run where alongside your friends, family, local residents and fellow runners, you are invited to enjoy a summer evening of dancing and fantastic live music provided by North East ceilidh band Yousedancin. Bring your own refreshments to have alongside some delicious stovies served amid the fun.

Event: Charity Craft & Vintage Fair

Details:The CVSA charities fair will be combined with a craft and vintage element this year! Local crafters will now hold stalls alongside charities to sell their goods or raise awareness - and our very own Boxroom and Magpie shops have been putting aside lots of lovely vintage items to sell on the day. 10% of all sales for non-charities will be split between the charities attending. We have loads of great crafters attending this year and are hoping the event will be bigger and better than ever.
Teas, coffees and refreshments will be on sale on the day - and Mearns FM will be providing the music.
