Stonehaven Heritage Fair
Location: Community Centre (main venue) and Tolbooth Museum (1pm - 4pm), Public Library
Date: Saturday 28th November
Time: 11am - 4pm
Details: Groups taking part include Stonehaven Heritage Society, Woodview Heritage Project, Aberdeenshire Registrars and NE Family History Society.  DVDs presentations being scheduled include the Ury Players Honours Three, a re-enactment recently filmed at Kinneff Church; and William Burnes, the Father of the Bard. Throughout the day live performances - music and song, writing, story-telling and poetry local to this area.  The great line-up includes Sinsheen, story teller Maggie Fraser, Grassic Gibbon Songwriting Group, Stonehaven Scrievers, Geordie Murison, Carol Anderson, Burns Quoir, Stonehaven Folk Cluband many more.
Supported by Aberdeenshire Council and the Heritage Lottery Fund, Stonehaven Heritage Fair promises to be a worthy finale to a series in communities across Aberdeenshire for the Year of the Homecoming.
Children’s storyteller, craft, music and trace your family roots at the library. Music and heritage displays at Tolbooth museum.

STP Town Hall Meeting

Details:Stonehaven Town Partnership are running this session for residents of Stonehaven.  It will be highly interactive and will give people the opportunity to discuss their aspirations for this important facility. 
The current poster and flyer campaign depicts well known people with the surname "Hall" and asks the question "is it Jerry's" etc.  Of course it's not Jerry's it's YOUR Town Hall.  The more people who attend, the quicker we can expect changes to occur and if you want to influence what happens to the Town Hall in the future you need to attend and make suggestions..
